Why You Need Website Development Service
She had the wireframe ready, like website copy, photos, etc.
The biggest problem Chelsea had was to develop the website.
Although it is easy to build the site on Squarespace these days, she understood that it could still take weeks to get it ready since she was unfamiliar with the system. Most importantly, some of her designs require advanced coding skills.
Instead of spending hours figuring it all out, she hired me for this project.
I developed the site based on her wireframe and used my coding skills, so the site has features that make her brand more unique and stand out from the market. Moreover, I also provide some feedback about her design.
Yes, you can build your site quickly on Squarespace. However, you may want a professional website or even a site with more engaging features. In that case, you need a designer to step in.
Since Chelsea does not need design service, we worked on this project via VIP Day.
Before The VIP Day
Before the development day, I will have an online meeting to ensure the client's needs and expectations will be met.
Then, I will step in as an expert, sharing my experience, like if the custom design request is feasible on Squarespace or if it will take more time to develop the site.
Last, I will ask the client to provide all the data, like wireframes including copies, images, brand assets, etc, before the agreed date. Also, I have an SEO document for the client to ensure the site is Google-friendly.
On Your Squarespace Development VIP Day
I share with my client what I will do for the day for every website development project.
On the VIP day, I lay out what we will do for each time frame and have 2 check-ins online with the client to ensure that we both know how the project is going and if some data is missing, the client can provide it right away.
The client only needs to be available for two online check-in meetings.
What Happens When The Squarespace Website Development Day Is Over?
You are ready to launch your site at the end of the development day.
If you agree, I can publish the site right away.
For every development service project, I prepare a document sharing what the client needs to know when updating the website pages in the future. I make sure the client can update the content easily.
